Orfeo Group is committed to the development and production of outstanding new works of theater. As part of our new play development, we created Orfeo R.A.W. The basis behind our reading and workshop series is to explore new original works and encourage creative development by allowing artistic contact between playwrites, actors and audience members.

Our inaugural R.A.W. was a reading performed at the Boston University Playwrights Theater on December 14th 2008. The performance was well attended and was followed by a vigorous talkback.The piece read was /Rendition/ by Ryan Kelly. The cast included some of Boston's top young talent, including Daniel Berger Jones, Liz Hayes, Risher Reddick, Jason Bowen, Rich Arum, Mason Sands and Alex Simoes. It was directed by Gabriel Kuttner and produced by Georgia Lyman.
