SARAH GOLDEN MARTIN

Sarah directed Orfeo's first production, Marisol and designed costumes for Look Back In Anger**. She has worked as a director for the Boston Theatre Works (Un)Bound Festival and as assistant director for A Midsummer Night's Dream (Boston Theatre Works) and Titus Andronicus** (Actors' Shakespeare Project).

Sarah is interested in the interaction between the arts and education, especially theatre and literacy. A graduate of Kenyon College, Sarah has taught at the Gordon School and the Lincoln School in Providence, RI, worked as an assistant teacher for the Huntington Theatre Company's Codman Academy collaborative, and as a teaching artist in the Cambridge Public Schools.

Sarah received her Ed.M. in Arts Education from Harvard University in 2008.
